Grown & Dealing with Depression

This blog post will be emotional and is a deep topic to talk about. I’m choosing to write about it because many people deal with depression during some point in their life and may not know that they are depressed. You may be thinking what is my purpose? Why am I/we going through these rough situations? Why did I lose the person I love the most? I feel alone. I have nobody to reach out too. I have no family. No one understands me. I don’t fit in. I can’t find someone to love me. I’m different and weird. I don’t have the right body. When will I be loved? I’m struggling. I’m ugly. I’m tired of losing.

These thoughts may have been in our heads numerous of times. Life is not easy. Life is not hard, we make it what it is. Do we stress ourselves out over things we can’t control? People think the route to happiness is money, but really the wealthiest people can be lonely, unhappy and dealing with depression too. So know money is not the key

My story: I grew up an only child to a single hard working mother, but I always knew when I got older I would provide for myself more than what I got. Money was the issue for me. If I had more, than I would be more satisfied.. I wasn’t grateful for what I had because I always wanted more. Now that im an adult and trying to make a living for myself, life is overwhelming and depressing. This world can be very depressing and will make you have suicide thoughts. If you are a creative person and outgoing person who’s pursuing your dreams   it’s like there’s always someone out there doing the same thing as you and better than you and you wonder why you are not winning like them. It’s a Debbie- downer it makes you feel like you aren’t worth it or good enough to have the success too. There is enough success for everyone. So it’s best to take a moment and look around and be grateful for what you have and be thankful that you are not where you used to be and you are doing the best you can at this moment to get you where you want to go.

If you are get depressed sometimes, look around and think of what you are working hard for and be thankful for what you have. Think of all the positives in your life. It may be difficult, but you need to make sure you are around people who bring out the best in you. And if you don’t have nobody spend time alone and do thing you like and bring out the best in yourself. Try to get you a journal or note book and write down 5 things you are grateful for and that should brighten your day. If you are constantly depressed, seek counseling or find someone you can talk to about it.
